Open Door Program Membership 

Membership:

Any child in grades 1* through 12 can join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick.  

*Kindergartners are welcome to enroll in our Before/After Kindergarten Program at the Norwood branch (additional fee).

What are the costs?

All members pay a $30.00 Annual Membership Fee

All members pay a $20.00 Monthly program Fee

Children who qualify for free to reduced lunch are exempt from the monthly fee (letter from child's school is required)

The maximum monthly fee per family is $30.00

 

Hours of Operation:

Our Clubs are open Monday - Friday on school days

*Open Door Program - Norwood Branch
Grades 1-5 – 2:30-6 pm

*Open Door Program - Oakland Beach Branch
Grades 1-5 – 2:30-6 pm
Grades 7-12 – 4:30-6pm

*Open Door Program - The CLUB at Cooper 
Grades 6-8 – 2:30pm – 6pm


 

What are the types of programs/activities offered?  

The programs that the Clubs offer are fun for kids but more importantly continues their development after the school day is over. Every child, every hour selects from one of the activities that are provided that day. Programs include:

 

Character and Leadership – Teaching respect for themselves, other and their community

Education and Career Development – Homework assistance with access to computer labs and tutors and mentors

Health and Life Skills – How to make good choices and leading a healthy life

The Arts – Dance, pottery, drawing, music, photography and more

Sports, Fitness and Recreation – Practicing good sportsmanship and having fun with others through sports

 

About the Staff: 

Our Clubs are staffed with adults and college students who are committed to your children. 

Many hold professional degrees in Education and Social Services 

All are First Aid and CPR certified and undergo at least 20 hours of training per year

All have passed intensive background checks before being hired.
