The Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick's Summer Camp program has been accredited by the American Camp Association, the most recognized organization that monitors the quality of camping in the USA,. The accreditation process requires the camp to either meet or exceed over 300 standards in the area of health, safety, risk management, human resources, transportation, and in all program areas including aquatics. In addition, all camp staff participate in orientation and training prior to camp. This intensive training includes topics such as Child Abuse Prevention, Risk Management, Age Level Characteristics, Group Activities, Positive Conflict Resolution, First Aid, CPR and more.
